🌿 Sofargen Gel 25 g — “Promotes tissue repair”

Sofargen Gel is a medical device (not a drug) designed for topical treatment of minor wounds, including abrasions, cuts, grazes, superficial injuries, skin irritations, and minor burns .

Why it’s effective:

**> 95% water content**: maintains a moist wound environment, essential for optimal healing .

Contains silver sulfadiazine (1%), a broad‑spectrum antimicrobial that helps prevent infection by keeping harmful bacteria away from the wound .

Helps remove dead tissue (debridement) and acts as a mild cleanser, accelerating the natural cleaning process .

Forms a thin, cohesive barrier that stays in place even when the surrounding skin moves, yet remains easy to wash off with saline or water .

How to use:

1. Cleanse the wound with water or saline.

2. Apply a 2–3 mm thick uniform layer directly, or spread the gel on sterile gauze/pad before placing it over the wound.

3. Re‑apply once or twice daily until healing is complete.

4. Change dressing and cleanse prior to each new application .

Precautions:

Use for small lesions only; consult a healthcare professional if healing stalls or any irritation arises.

Color may turn slightly brown with exposure to light (due to silver) — this is harmless and doesn’t reduce efficacy .

Not for ophthalmic use.

Maximum suggested use period is around 4 weeks unless directed otherwise .

✨ Sofargen Spray (125 ml) — A complementary format

Sofargen Spray contains silver sulfadiazine and kaolin, delivered as a sprayable powder offering wound‑healing benefits in a different form .

Key properties:

Kaolin forms a fine crust over wounds that helps absorb fluid (exudate) and keep the area dry and clean.

Silver sulfadiazine again ensures antimicrobial protection against Gram‑positive, Gram‑negative, and anaerobic organisms.

The spray creates a dry protective barrier, supports the natural healing process, and is easily removed by rinsing .

Usage:

Shake well.

Spray from about 15 cm distance onto clean wound.

Use from early to late phases of wound healing until fully resolved .
