Dosage of Lehning Euphrasia Conjunctivitis

Euphrasia Complex No. 155 is reserved for adults and children over 2 years old. In adults, the dosage is 20 drops 3 times a day for a maximum of 1 week.
In children aged 2 to 12 years, it is 1 drop, 5 times a day, spread out over the day. The maximum duration of treatment is 5 days, due to the presence of alcohol in this complex. An interval of at least 4 hours must be respected between two doses. 
The doses will be spaced out as soon as the symptoms improve, and should stop when they disappear. 

The method of administration of this medication is sublingual. 
The drops should be taken in a little water, away from meals and kept under the tongue before swallowing. The dropper bottle should be held vertically. 

A doctor or pharmacist should be contacted immediately if too much of the oral solution has been taken. 
Do not double the dose to make up for a forgotten dose. 

Precautions for use of Lehning Euphrasia Complex No. 155

This oral solution contains ethanol (45% volume), caution when using it in alcoholics. Its use is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, children and high-risk groups such as those with liver failure or epileptics.

For 20 drops, the amount of ethanol is 178 ml, which is equivalent to 1.8 ml of wine or 4.4 ml of beer per dose in adults. 

It is necessary to have medical advice before taking any medication in case of pregnancy and breastfeeding.

If you have been informed of an intolerance to certain sugars, you should contact your doctor before taking this medication. 

This medication should not be instilled in the eye, and you should be sure to wash your hands thoroughly after any contact with the eye. 

Due to the presence of Capsicum annuum in this medication, it should not be used without the advice of a doctor in case of otitis.
